No Freudian slips today
...so I drank my tea without anything and went to the lab. Being a diplomat does have its perks, I must say. No queuing; doctor came out to greet me and take me into her sanctissimum, and I was finished 5 minutes later. For once, I managed to pee into the cup without also peeing on my hands. TMI, I know ;-) (Whereas I still have to learn how to pee on those hole-in-the-ground loos without peeing on my shoes. It's a tough world...)
Results ought to be ready this afternoon. I'm not dreading them, since the analysis was ordered merely because 1) my docotor hadn't seen me in 5 years and 2) he wanted to be 100% sure it's just gastritis. Anyway, having one's blood tested once every few years isn't a bad idea.
Other than that, no news. It's summer, it's quiet. Just as it should be.
