wasn't bad.
Cold is definitely a thing of the past.
I played with Valentina from 8.30 to 10, went home and prepared the vegetable curry for Stefanie's party. It was one of the best I've ever made, partly due to the biiiiig chunk of butter I put in at the end. But I also got the added amount of liquid just right, ditto the spices. Very, very yummy. It was gone in less than an hour, and people took second and third helpings.
Also memorable: for the first time -- I think -- in my life I invited somebody whom I'd met only once before to stay at my place. I'm very selective about who even enters my place, left alone who stays overnight. This guy I met last time I went to Kosovo, and I liked him a lot, so when Stefanie asked whether I'd put him up I said yes without hesitation. (He's an Austrian judge, BTW, who works for EULEX in Kosovo -- Stefanie used to work for OSCE there, which is why she has many friends there)
I was being a Good Girl and didn't drink too much, just a few beers and two rakias, i.e. no hangover today even though I only slept from 2 to 6.30.
There won't be much productivity going on today chez PW37. The weather is ok -- not much sun for the time being but warm and no risk of rain -- so tennis outdoors at 2 p.m. (I mean isthis great or what? Tennis outdoors on 28 November!!!???) And a quiet night in -- boss is on leave for the whole week, so I need my wits and energy.
