Just babbling
Feb. 4th, 2005 09:36 amThe Austrian TV did a full coverage of the Opera Ball last night. It's supposed to be Austria's major society event and incredibly glamorous and all. I fell asleep about 20 minutes after it had started, to be woken at 1 am and sent home by Janine. Ze boyz were not amused, since I went straight to bed.
Woke up in rather grumpy mood today, due in no small part to Mr X's silence during last week. Having been down with influenza the week before is of course an attenuating circumstance, but I wasn't really in the mood to listen to my rational self. Nourished gloomy thoughts about simly dumping the bastard. 10 Minutes ago he called, so we'll at least meet for coffee later this morning. Mood definitely lightened now.
There doesn't seem to be much work to do today, so this promises to be a nice, relaxed Friday.
One of the perks of this job is that the people working in my department are exceptionally nice. Not one single person I could say I don't get along with, at least on an office-only level. The atmosphere here reminds me very much of the time in Milan - office doors open, a bit of chatting every now and then, sharing jokes etc.
On a completely unrelated note:
shiv, have you received the mail? And have you by any chance changed the password to our common account? I thought I remembered it, but it seems to be the wrong one. So maybe it's only my memory failing me. Would you be so kind and mail me the password?
