Life in Anatolia, and a meme
Aug. 17th, 2007 09:24 amIt is widely unknown that I used to play the piano in my otherwise misspent youth. Since my father suspected considerable talent, but didn't want me to become a professinal musician, I was allowed to start only at age 12 and stopped playing when I moved into my first own apartment, which was to small for a piano.
While in Milan, I bought an upright piano and even played a lot, but then along came fandom, and writing, and I discovered that I was much better at writing than playing. Besides, I needed the room for bookshelves, and so the pianio was sold in 2003.
Now, however, I thought Why indeed not?, and got myself a new one. Rather cheap, as pianos go (Pearl River, a Chinese brand), but since I'm not quite sure whether it's a passing fancy or something more durable, I reckoned that an expensive instrument really wasn't worth the money, at least for the time being.
Those among you who play an instrument probably know what I mean, if I tell you that re-starting is horrible. Especially after 23 years interrupted by a scant few months.
But it'll be fun, I guess. Especially playing together with Gabriele - she already brought me Haydn's Cello Concerto in C, which is slightly daunting.
And now, the imaginary harem:

(1) List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
(2) Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them.
(3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
(4) Supply photos for said people.
(5) Tag five people. (I won't do that, though)
Predictable, I know, but no.1 is definitely Jason Isaacs. CoS got me hooked (because I'd never seen him in any other film before), but what really did it was Divorcing Jack and Patriot. Clever, handsome, funny. What else could a girl wish for?
No.2 on the list is Daniel Craig. I saw Casino Royale and just... swooned. Shower, anyone?
Then, of course, Jeremy Irons. Don't know which film I saw first, though. But he's still my ideal Severus Snape.

Ok, hit me over the head with a frying pan. But I still think George Clooney is gorgeous... First seen in ER, of course. But Seth Gecko is HOTTTT!

And last, James Spader. Again, no idea which film I saw him first in. In spite of supreme silliness, Stargate comes to mind, though. And Sex, Lies and Videotape, but I'm sure I saw that one later.
