And aren't I lucky to have no a/c?

Because the power blackout  that started at about 4.15 p.m. isn't over yet, after more than 4 hours. If I had a/c at home, I'd feel the loss. Since there's none, well, I have to wait until it gets a bit cooler. Windows and balcony doors are open already, but there's not the least bit of wind, so even if it cools down outside, I won't be feeling much of it inside. Anyway, it's still 35° and not likely to go down much during the night. The heat has come very late this year though, so one shouldn't complain. But one does, because one is sweating like a horse.

I've reduced the antibiotics dose to 2 a day now instead of 3, and am feeling much better. The yoghurt helps, too, I suppose. The next rabies shot is due on Friday, but I'm pretty sure the effect won't be as bad as after the first one. 

I might have to go to bed soon, because when the computer screen is the only source of light it makes my eyes and head hurt, it's too dark for reading, and the TV doesn't work without eckeltricity. There's only one circuit powered by the generator, and that's in the kitchen, to keep the fridge going. Reading in the kitchen is theoretically possible, but not very comfy, so I think I'll be having an early night.

I'm not being maudlin or depressed, by the way, just a bit miffed and very tired.
