Much better today
Aug. 7th, 2008 03:29 pm...probably because my vacation starts tomorrow at 4 p.m.
Probably also because Mr Dindar of air-condition-and-transparent-lies fame has an appointment with me tomorrow, and I'm going to give him a piece of my mind.
Thanks for all the nice comments about ze boyz! It's a bit silly being so happy about people liking the pictures, but there you are. And I'm so glad they're still so young and totally healthy. *iz turning into strange lady with cats*
Tomorrow I'll get my last rabies shot, which means this ugly story, too, is finished. No work left to speak of, and then a whole... *counts on fingers* 16 days without work, ambassador, visa intervenations, malfunctioning air condition units. 9 of them (not counting the days on which I travel) completely without ze boyz, though.
When I come back, the 2009 rota might already be out, and I can apply for a new posting. Skopje, Nicosia, Amman, Riga should be on the list, plus of course the Consul General in Istanbul. They're never going to give me that, but I'll apply all the same, just for the fun of it.
