Arts question

Maybe one of the artists on my flist can help: Which colours do you have to mix, when drawing with colour crayons, to achieve a convincing skin tone? I was close to desperation yesterday, because it always got either too yellowish or too pinkish. I can do it with watercolours, but had to give up with the crayons.
