Fic for Shiv's prompt-that-never-was

shiv5468 was still pondering whether to participate in the exchange or not, she posted one prompt on her LJ, which she then didn't use for the exchange. It was very, very intriguing and went like this:
Snape is making a living selling illicit potions in Knockturn Alley, and he knows all sorts of secrets. His initial intention is to blackmail his way to freedom / a better life, but gradually he decides to be a better person and set everyone free from their burdens. In a non fatal way. Hermione and Lucius would be involved in this process, I think. having gone to him for potions of their own.
I wrote the fic during my holiday in Austria - I wanted it to be a threesome, but Severus was just too damaged.
Then I said to myself, why not post it as a gift to the mods/the community, but there are 2 good reasons not to do it: 1) It's more Lumione than SS/HG, although the SSHG dynamics are every bit as important as the HGLM ones, and 2) there are already so many exchange fics that one more would be a bit redundant. People won't be getting lots of reviews as it is, and so I'd be robbing both myself and them by posting yet another fic.
So I'll just post it here and on ff.net, hoping that you, and most of all shiv, like it.
