Weekend

Look what I haz got!! *iz proud*


After two rather busy days at work, I'm having a quiet weekend. Quiet and unproductive, just what I needed.

Also, I've almost decided to attempt a Marriage Law fic, LM/HG, with the original idea completely turned on its head.

Speaking of LM/HG, I've been reading a fic called Hungry Thirsty Crazy (http://hp.adultfanfiction.net/story.php?no=600015093&chapter=1) on adultff. It's very, very good, so good in fact that the quality made me forget my qualms about the analysis of Lucius's character and psyche. It would fit Snape perfectly, and IMO doesn't suit Lucius quite as well, but since the author is an extremely gifted writer and consistently sticks to her characterization, personal preferences don't matter overly much. It's really worth reading.

Tomorrow is Gabriele's birthday party (I got her Andras Schiff's new recording of the Beethoven sonatas), and fortunately Monday is an Austrian holiday, so everybody will be able to sleep off their hangovers, which I suppose are inevitable.
Given that the rest of the week is a muslim holiday, Doris and I (Gabriele has taken a holiday) have decided to split the remaining 4 days between us.  I'll be working Tuesday and Wednesday, and she on Thursday and Friday. Which means two days of work followed by four days off. And then Christmas won't be far... If I decide to take in and feed the Lumione plot bunny, there'll be plenty of time for writing.
