Yucky, yucky cold

...which started on Monday with a sore throat and developed into that disgusting thing with no fever, head full of yucky bodily fluids and general feeling of being a very old, overused washcloth. There's absolutely no point in staying home, because it won't get better any sooner that way, and at least work provides some kind of distraction from feeling sick. But I'll leave early, because I'm dead tired.
Anyway, to hail the hardly discernible silver lining to this cloud, it's better to be sick this week than next, because next week will be a lot busier. So yay!!! for good timing. Or something like yay. At least I got a good night's sleep. And given the amounts of vitamin C I'm guzzling, the yuckiness should be gone soon, hopefully before the weekend.
