Boss decided yesterday that he needed to go to the opening of an interreligious conference in Ohrid, taking place this morning, and so I said I'd come in just for an hour, to read mails and see if everything was ok. But I slept a little longer than usual, did manicure and pedicure and then walked leisurely down to the Embassy. Nothing dramatic seems to be about to happen, so I'll leave in about 15 minutes -- off to the tennis courts. There's a lovely outdoor café there, so I'll have a coffee and a bite to eat before playing.
Afterwards I think I might go and buy those lovely beige peeptoes I saw yesterday. *tsks at self* And maybe another pair of sandals, because I only have one, and that's not enough.

Did I mention that I caved in and bought two girly tennis outfits? Honestly, why don't they make short pants for women? Why does a woman have to play in a skirt, unless she wants her legs to be tanned up to the knees, and her thighs to remain white? OK, so I bought this:

Looks lovely. And I also bought a short, pleated skirt -- of the integrated-knickers variety -- plus matching top, also in grey and pink. Both are Nike, genuine, and I got them for under 100 euros.

Aaand, did I mention that I've been a good girl and went to the dentist? Yes, I did, and I got a  thorough cleaning. Very small spot of caries, which we're going to fix next week, and then I only need a crown on my implant and shall be able to live in peace for another year. Am feeling v. grown-up and responsible!
