Early bird catches the flight
May. 31st, 2010 03:46 pmAustrian Airlines have gone bonkers -- return flight Vienna-Skopje on 29 or 30 June costs € 301, which means a total of almost 500 for a flight that usually costs € 350.
So I'll be flying one day later than planned, i.e. from 27 to 30 June, with Croatian Airlines. Changing planes in Zagreb wouldn't be a problem.
But the Skopje-Zagreb flight leaves at 6.10.
I already hate it.
And no, telling me that arriving in Vienna at 9.05 is a fantastic perk doesn't help either, because I'm going to be dead tired, seeing as I'll have to crawl out of bed at 3.30. Anyway, the trip has to take place, because my mother sounded very unhappy when I said we might not see each other before autumn (last time was end of March), so I gave in to my nobler side and decided to go.
Anyway there's a real plus side to the Croatian flight: the return flight is at 7.30 p.m. which means a whole day in Vienna. But I'll have to take 1 July off work, because there's no way I'm going to work after arriving late the day before. Just think of what ze boyz would have to say about that!
