Aug. 11th, 2010 09:58 amWent to bed at 1.30, got up at 5.30. No further elaboration on the topic is needed, I think.
The birthday celebration was lovely, though. A birthday dinner, rather, and we were 15, and we had fun. And lots of beer. No hangover, though, because I stuck to beer (did I have 5 or 6? Small ones of course. No idea. Must have lost count, but certainly not more than 6) and rakia, of which I had two. So I'm just feeling tired, but not overly so. Tennis at 6 and an early night ought to set it right again.
But I've finished all the work -- mainly wading through the email backlog, accumulated in 10 days -- and now I need to find something to keep me awake.
I *could* do a third draft of the text message I'm going to write Mr. H, who seems to be in Skopje and not on holiday. Wibbling is a fantastic means of fighting tiredness. Besides, repeated headdesks (caused by exasperation with self) might help, too.
Did I say Kill me now?
Please do. You'd be doing me a favour.
