I am proud to report Mr H-immunity. It's still early days, so I'm a bit hesitant to do the whole fanfares-cum-drumroll-cum-flags thing just yet, but unless some miracle happens, I think I can honestly say I've gone off him.

Not sleeping very well these days, no idea why. The nights are cool, I don't overeat at night, I keep doing lots of exercise... I'm not feeling bad or very tired, just a bit annoyed.

Must start vitamin pills again, because of incipient craving for salted almonds and sweets (o_O for the latter). Too many calories by far, especially as I'm craving that stuff merely to compensate for some deficiency or other (deficiency of malnutrition, as Corporal Radar O'Riley would say).

No Macedonian lesson today, because Dalibor's grandfather had a heart attack, so Dalibor had to go to Kumanovo. Poor Dalibor -- first he lost his grandmother (in spring), then he had  to undergo that horribly ghastly surgery to remove his teeth of wisdom, and now it's his grandpa. Not a good year for all concerned (except maybe the teeth, who might be enjoying their freedom on some hospital waste dump...)

Am fretting slightly, although completely pointlessly, because the weather is so great now -- what if it starts to rain next week, and Klaus arrives next Friday, and we won't be able to do all the things I've planned?

I totally forgot about one cultural project that has been in the pipelines for ages (presentation of an Austrian movie about the architect Bogdan Bogdanovic). Have € 4000 left, another project in preparation, and am now frightfully short of money. Operation Sponsoring has started already -- wish me luck. Why, oh why do I have to deal with culture??? I've done enough culture before Milan, in Milan and after Milan to last me a lifetime. I hate it. *wails*

The usual nocturnal dog drama last night right under my bedroom balcony: the noises were so alarming that I went out on the balcony to have a look. Resident (and very nice) Dog standing in front of the entrance door, growling, a half-circle of 4 or 5 other dogs facing him, growling. It was eerily surreal, like a scene from a movie. I clapped sharply, so the whole bunch ran off -- I hope it helped Resident Dog in his righteous fight against the intruders.

Tha's all. Heads of Mission meeting at 9.30, lunch with Anita at 12.00, appointment with some guy who wants something (no idea what it's about) at 2. Gym after work. Maybe tonight, but maybe tomorrow night, dinner with the director of the Austrian Federal Crime Bureau and with Stefan. Director guy is nice and interesting, so I'm rather looking forward to it.

*waves*
Have a good day, everybody!

ETA: Roaming around the shopping centre in the time between HoMs meeting and lunch is not a good idea. One leather jacket (lovely, soft brown leather, biker style), one suit (with skirt, thin beige-brown tweed, spiffy), three tops. Erm, one scarf. And a bit of fancy jewellery. Almost nothing, merely a trifle.
*snuggles leather jacket*
*imagines self in new suit with new naughty black high heels plus new scarf*
*faints*
