Ded & happy

Happy because Klaus is here, and we talked and... well, it's just wonderful having him here.
Of course the weather got worse -- it's not yet raining, but that can't be very far away, to judge by how the sky looks. Late breakfast, methinks, with lots of good things and in complete relaxation and idleness.
Yesterday I practised returning evil serves with Valentina, and it went quite well. Hers are about as fast and wicked as Mr H's, and she told me exactly how to do it, so I managed to return about half of them correctly, i.e. no out and no shoot-the-moon-off-the-sky shots, 25% went out and only 25% ended up somewhere else. It's incredibly hard on the wrists, but certainly worth the trouble. Paradoxical though it may sound, I'm starting actually to look forward to the tournament. Weather permitting, we'll play doubles tomorrow with Valentina, Elena and Pinar.
It's a lucky thing Klaus isn't the kind of visitor who resents my going off to play tennis or to the gym.
Nothing more to report right now. I'm sitting here, listening to Austrian radio, feeling calm and happy and tired in a good way. It's going to be a good weekend, whatever we end up doing.
