Re. reading habits: do you people have favourite books, which you simply must re-read every now and again? If you do, which books, and how often have you read them already?
I'm asking this because I just *had* to re-read "His Dark Materials" yesterday, i.e. I devoured 2/3 of Northern Lights. Not sure how often I've read the trilogy already, but at least five or six times.  And I still have to cry at certain passages, like e.g. the bit in Northern Lights where Lyra finds Tony Makarios clutching a frozen fish instead of his cut-off daemon.

First part of quarterly report finished, i.e. the interior politics part, which is always the trickiest.
And now I'll set out with sluggish, uncooperative residence employee to buy a vacuum cleaner. But afterwards I'll visit Lola, and then there's lunch with boss and doctor.
And then the evaluation talk, although I'm not quite sure whether it won't be postponed to tomorrow.

ETA: The talk has been unanimously postponed to tomorrow morning.
And *gasp* not only is Mr H back in Macedonia, he also called me and asked me out for drinkies tonight. What was that sound? Ah, yes, of course. Dame Fate laughing her fat arse off.
