Ouch.
Once again, the enormous difference between indoors exercise and tennis on the one hand, and walking out in the open has been most effectively demonstrated. Yesterday and on Saturday I did approx. 2 hrs of quick, i.e. at a speed of around 6,2 km/h, walking each, and yesterday there was 1,5 hrs tennis on top of that. And yes, quick walking uses entirely different muscle groups, which are now a bit sore. Especially the inside of my thighs and the quadriceps.
But the exercise helped a lot with achieving some kind of emotional balance. Apart from the feel-good hormones that are being produced, the feeling of being completely warm while it's freezing around me, and the music I'm listening to blocking out all other sounds, is wonderful. (And yes, I'm being extra careful re. traffic)
Apologies to the wonderful
