Another plunge taken today

*wibbles some more*
*panics*
The critters were being so peaceful this morning -- none of the usual Lucius-chases-Lola-to-be-chased-back-by-Lola etc. -- that I decided to leave the trio unsupervised. Today isn't a Slavica day, so Lola would've had to go to prison; that wouldn't have been a big problem, since I'll have to be home at 4.30 at the latest in order to change for Pilates, so it wouldn't have been for an overly long period. But sooner or later I *have* to try, and the auspices seemed positive for today. Plus, the weather is warm and sunny, so it was possible to leave both the window in Lola's room and the living room balcony door open, which means that nobody can get stuck on the balcony, should somebody decide to loom next to the door.
I briefly considered going home in the late morning to have a look, but on second thought that's not a good idea: *if* they decide to kill each other, they'll put those sinister plans into action in the early morning; later on they all go to sleep anyway, and looking in on them might merely wake them up and give them bad ideas.
Having taken Lola in has many advantages, apart from the obvious one of having Lola, of course. I'm eating less -- not quite sure why; probably because I'm too busy behaving like a mad mother hen when I get home, and then I just have a little something instead of dinner. This, combined with Pilates, has had a very positive impact on my figure. Also, I spend less money, because while they're still not 100% used to each other, I don't go out in the evening. It also means that I still haven't got that mat I need for Pilates, but a few more lessons on a towel won't do any lasting harm.
Supremely, horrifyingly boring military attaché will be arriving in the late morning, and at 1 p.m. there shall be a lunch at the residence, featuring the boss, Stefanie, Stefan, yours truly and unfortunately also the attaché. If Stefan and I hadn't cracked so many jokes about him last Friday at lunch, I wouldn't be so worried about complete loss of countenance the moment I Stefan and I exchange a look. I'll try to get through it with dignity, though.
Pilates today at 5, and at 8 Alexandra and I are going to get carnivorous and have one of those wonderful steaks at Gourmet.
Tomorrow, tennis from 5-7, and again on Saturday from 11-1. The weather should be absolutely, mind-bogglingly splendid, so there will be running as well, methinks.
If only I wasn't so tired... Entirely my fault, because I emptied a bottle of red wine last night with Alexandra, and then we spent a considerable amount of time ogling Roder Federer videos on youtube. So it was 11.30 when I went to bed, and the alarm rang at 5.15. *yawns*
