Ouch, my back
May. 22nd, 2011 07:28 amI did the same yesterday as last October: coughed and put my back out. Major ouch. At first I thought it wasn't so bad, but, well, it is. Not alarming, because the worst will be over by tomorrow (I hope), but highly annoying because it effing hurts, and because I wanted to go running today. As things are, I might be going for a walk later on, because moving and warming is good for the angry muscles -- plus I'm out of capsicum plasters and need to buy some -- but nothing more challenging than that. Bummer.
In spite of slowly blossoming back pain, yesterday's lunch with Goran, my landlord, and his family was great, both food- and company-wise. Rather on the lots-of-calories side, but since I'd played tennis before, that wasn't much of an issue.
And, merely to finish this whiny post on a lighter, sillier note: I've discovered another irrefutable proof of Lola being a demon in disguise. OK, they made her look like a cat, but they covered her in rabbit fur. Major mistake. Plus it's obvious that her ears are just badly disguised horns. Shoddy work, ye underworldly powers. Very, very shoddy.

Painkillers are taking effect, bless them.
Cleaning three litter boxes, changing water and dishing out food, unloading the dishwasher and folding/putting away laundry took me an hour... An outlook on old age I definitely wouldn't have needed.
Irene just wrote me an sms -- she has capsicum plasters!!! Bless her, too. (We've sorted out the mailbox problem, BTW -- all bright and sunny again )
Also, it sems my flat is turning into a kind of military barracks -- sharing with Major Ouch and Major Mistake... Fortunately Private Disaster is on extended leave. *iz silly*
