...which has been consistently proved by the monumental drug hangover I got when I tried to kill off the pain in my upper back (muscle knot right next to left shoulder blade) on Saturday with the usual painkillers-and-alcohol combination. I'd thought it was going to get better with tennis -- warming the muscles usually does the trick -- but it didn't, and so I resorted to drugs. Spent the rest of Saturday in a state of stoned bliss, which lasted through half of Sunday. It wasn't so bad.
The pain is almost but not quite gone; breathing in deeply is still a bit awkward, so I hope that today's pilates will help.

Daniel the Lovely Nephew had sung the praises of the TV adaptation of A Game of Thrones when last we talked via Skype, and since the DVDs aren't yet available I decided to get the first two books of the series. God, how I love those brick-like books.
I'm not really into Fantasy, but it's quite good. Devoured 300 pages yesterday and am looking forward to continuing. Will have to get books 3 and 4 as well -- timing is perfect: if I order today, they'll surely arrive in time for the next diplomatic mail which arrives on 9 September.
Question to those who saw the TV series: does Sean Bean play Eddard Stark? (imdb is incredibly slow on my work computer)

Now I have to go to the residence to take a few measurements and pictures for future boss. Not something I'm particularly looking forward to, but it's got to be done.

All the best to the f-list -- have a good start into the new week!
