Some trees bear strange fruit indeed
Nov. 16th, 2011 08:50 amThis works better in German, because "scratching post" is "scratching tree" in German.

Lola is quite obviously of Hellish Origin, and so is Lucius.

Two brand-new, wonderful scratching posts will be arriving with new Ambassador's stuff, in about two weeks' time I guess. This one is getting a bit shaky. And two will be much better, because scenarios like this morning's won't happen anymore -- Cornelius was on the upper level, Lola on the lower, and Lucius wanted to join his brother. Impossible, because Lola just wouldn't let him pass. So he had to stay away, visibly pissed-off.
Cornelius and Lola have fewer problems being at close quarters, as demonstrated by this piccie:

New Ambassador is... *sighs* Acceptable I guess. But one of the kind that thinks that people from my category -- or, *gasp* below -- are a lower form of life. This is something I strongly resent, but which can't be changed. I may be wrong, since I haven't known him for very long after all, but the way he's reacting when I'm explaining something (which he asked me to explain in the first place) shows quite clearly that he doesn't enjoy having things explaned to him by an inferior. Well, tough luck. I only hope he never sits or falls on me accidentally, because he's almost 2m tall and can't weigh much less than 150 kg. Yesterday he was wearing a tie with hippos, very fitting.
On the plus side, if he really doesn't value or request my input in other than administrative things, I'll be able not only to brush up my skills in that department, but I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands. Well-paid time.
