Squeeee!!! and picspam
Jun. 5th, 2012 08:34 amI got my exchange prompt! And I love it. Plot bunnies are stuffing themselves silly on carrots, the Muse is taking a bubble bath and sipping a glass of champagne, and the fingers are itching to start writing.
Klaus was here over the weekend, and it was a lovely weekend indeed. Seeing as I'm a Crazy Cat Lady, I was very pleased to see that Lola isn't afraid of men in general, but obviously just didn't like Lois. (Maybe she just likes gay men...)
We didn't do a lot -- mostly it was talking, long walks, watching "In Treatment" (getting a psychotherapist's POV is highly interesting), and having nice meals. And the occasional nap, as proved by this pic:

Sweet, innit?
In other news, I got the hormone results back yesterday, and everything is normal. Which is good, because normal results always are, and bad, because the tummy fat is probably due to the hormone change, but not treatable with hormones.
Being the obstinate person I am, however, I've already started further to reduce my food intake and increase exercise, and it's taking effect. Very slowly -- a year ago I would probably have lost a few kilos already -- but steadily.
Now I'm going to explore the food intolerance option, and if *that* doesn't yield any tangible results, I'll have to resign myself to eating less and exercising more. There are worse fates, though.
