Look at this photo:

Williams and Hlavackova are almost exactly the same height (Williams 175, Hlavackova 174). Allegedly, Williams weighs 70kg and Hlavackova 62. There's no bloody way the weight difference is 8kg. Williams is massive -- just look at the thighs, bum, ribcage etc. Hlavackova is a chicken -- her bandaged thigh is thinner than Williams'. No bloody way.
Just saying.
I'm watching way too much tennis these days. Also, just saying. But it's a carpe diem thing, because of the six-hour difference, which makes it easy to watch most of the games taking place in the late morning and early afternoon.

In completely different news: Even though the night temperatures are beginning to be rather pleasant, we've been having 14 weeks of dry heat. It rained exactly three times, maybe an hour, two hours each.
The air is horrible, with dust and soot from the wood fires (not to mention the smell, if the wind is NW). I don't even want to think about ozone levels. Everything is dry and yellowish-brown; most of the trees look like they normally do in October. The sky isn't blue anymore, but a milky blue-grey. The sunrises and -sets are spectacular, but knowing the reason for those stunning reds and oranges, I'd willingly settle for something cleaner, if less poetic. And no change in sight -- the forecast says cloudy for tomorrow and Friday, but the chance of rain is no more than 15%, so I guess even if we're lucky, it won't be much.
I'm aware that neighbour's lawn is always greener (pun intended), but oh, how I wish that it would rain for a whole day and night!

Nothing else of even remote interest to report, except that it's going to be a pleasant day.
I hope the same is true for you guys, well at least the 'pleasant' part.
