Christmas presents now complete. And I even bought wrapping paper (which I usually forget).
Migraine. I hate it with a vengeance (now there's a surprise). And a blood vessel burst in my right eye. Looks pretty awful.
Having just read
azraelgeffen's enthusiastic comments on Jason Isaacs as Captain Hook, I went on a little icon quest and found this, which might lighten up the day of other Isaacs fans as much as it did mine. Guess who'll be making iconses tonight? :D
I do love bright, sunny winter days, I really do. But the facade of the house opposite is white, and it's doing awful things to my head.
Janine bought new toyz for da boyz: spheres made of wire with fur mice inside. Obviously very fascinating.
Maybe the next step of home-embellishment will follow very soon: I have to take the books out of the 2 bookshelves at the head and of my bed and store them somewhere (probably on top of the living-room bookshelves), throw away the 2 old shelves (IKEA, 20 years old--out with them) push the bed up to the wall, shift the chest of drawers, and THEN, buy pretty pretty embroidered Indian silk (about 2,5m = 8'). The plan is to mount the length of silk on two wooden slats and put it on the wall at the head end of bed, as if it was a large painting. Still have to find a beautiful fabric, though. But there's this India shop, where they have the most extraorinary silk. I'm sure I'll find something there.
