The delights of Sunday

Cat nets are finally in place. It was't easy though, because Bolek & Lolek (as Gabriele named them) insisted on using aluminium bars, although I'd explicitly told them that I wanted staples. I won't repeat the increasingly exasperated conversation (mostly on my side), but let me tell you that explaining 'staple' to somebody who speaks broken English isn't an easy task. In the end we settled for hooks.
Ze boyz love their new vantage point from where they can control the neighbourhood, traffic and law & order in general.

I had to do a very quick beta job for the exchange yesterday - not quite happy with myself, because I like to work more thoroughly.

In one of the comments to shiv's whip-cracking post at sshg, somebody said they're already looking forward to pinch hitting. So am I, I have to admit. Well, let's see if I'm lucky enough to find a prompt in my mailbox.

In about half an hour Jasmin and Stefan will come to pick me up and go to Bilkent Shopping Centre - Jasmin needs summer clothes and I offered to pay with my tax-free card.

Tonight, there will be BBQ at the Canadian Consul's place - lovely guy, whose wife is Austrian (that's how I came to know them). Mmmmh, BBQ. We likes it, precioussss
