But maybe this one isn't going to be all that brief. Let's see - right now everything is calm and my in-box is mercifully empty. Too good to be true...

Saturday's dinner was a great success in every sense. Iris, the new one (she'll have to deal with press and culture) is a very nice person, who fits well into the team. And the food was excellent, if I say so myself.

Sunday was spent loading and unloading the dishwasher in between naps and reading Pratchett's City Watch trilogy.  Have I ever professed my undying love for Sam Vimes? If not, I'm doing it now. I love Sam Vimes. And Sybil Ramkin.

The week so far has been quite stressful, since on this side of the embassy three peple are on holiday. It wasn't bad, though, just no time for coffee breaks and very short lunch breaks.

There also was a bit of time - in the evening of course - to enjoy the ongoing spoilers discussion. Since I don't mind being spoiled at all (more so as the book is going to hit the shops here in Ankara with a considerable delay), I did of course download the photographed version.

The rest goes under a cut, so click at your own risk and don't whine if you don't like what's underneath..
