Jul. 25th, 2008 03:10 pmBecause today is Friday, and it's already past 3, with only 50 minutes to go until the weekend. That's good.
I had my second rabies shot today, which as expected didn't provoke the same nasty reaction as the first one. And we got there and back in 30 minutes!
Since everything went so well today, I'm pretty much immune to bad news but suppose that will change on Monday. Because, after 2 days of absolutely useless blundering around, the electricians told me that the malfuntion of the office a/c is due to voltage fluctuations, which in their turn are caused by too much energy being consumed in a city that already has too little of it. The only remedy is to get a voltage regulator, and I have to petition the Ministry for that. This means that we won't have a/c for the next few weeks, if the hot weather continues and people continue to turn up their a/c's full blast.
