Mixed feelings on Monday
Oct. 27th, 2008 10:20 amThe migraine demon struck again - what kind of manners is that, I ask you, to befall people on a Monday morning? Anyway, I've taken my pills, and so things ought to get better soon.
Tuesday and Wednesday off have been confirmed, so yay for 2 free days and writingness. Fortunately the Dutch colleague, with whom I was to have lunch tomorrow, was kind enough to agree to postpone it to Thursday. sshg_exchange pinch-hit. Yes, I managed to poke the poor modses long and insistently enough, so they gave me one :-) And a very nice prompt it is.
On Thursday I'll be at work again, less because I can't live without it but because the diplomatic mail arrives on Thursdays, and I'm expecting DVDs. One has to think of one's weekends after all.
Migraine is already receding. With that and the prospect of 2 free days, life is looking rather good at the moment.
