BTW, if anybody is interested in seeing what a wannabe mad dictator's fantasies look like, go to youtube and search for "Skopje 2014". Cost approx. € 200 million -- a mere trifle, une quantité négligeable. Needless to mention that teachers and doctors are underpaid, infrastructure is in dire need of repair, people are hungry for heaven's sake, and retirement pensions don't get paid on time. But I'm sure all that will be outweighed by the joy they'll feel when they see all the nice statues...
