Apr. 14th, 2010 07:52 amThese days, given that I do have rather a lot of time on my hands, due to boss's absence, I've been cruising the internet for piccies of clothes my tailor may then plagiarize. Found rather a lot.
What I also found, or rather found out, was that evidently there is a category of suit hitherto unknown to me: the Church Suit. Think Queen Elizabeth II dressing up as a Christian Sex Kitten, and you'll get the picture. I half expected captions saying "Jesus loves you... in this suit" or "The width of this hat's brim is ideal for taking the Holy Communion", but evidently they didn't think of that possibility.
Anyway. I found lots of things to be copied, and that's what counts. Zoran the tailor will be much happier with piccies than he was with my sketch, I suppose. Especially as many websites have pictures with not only a front, but also a back and profile view of the clothes. All printed out in colour, numbered, and I've also made a list of the items I want, and in which colour. Inner Hermione was having a field day.
The weather is also cooperating, insofar as it's cool and rainy and it seems that nothing much is going to change during the next few days. So I don't need to worry about having nothing to wear in warm/hot weather, and next week most of my stuff will be ready.
Today has been declared no sports day, since a) boss is coming back from Vienna in the early afternoon, i.e. I'll probably have to stay a bit longer at work, b) I have to get things from dry cleaning and c) I also have to do some grocery shopping. So I might be cooking something a little more elaborate tonight, if I feel like it.
I really envied ze boyz today, when I had to go out into the rain and gloom, and the beasties were lazily watching me from their resting place on my bed, curled up in their typical yin-and-yang fashion. Today would've been the ideal day for keeping them company...
