My nose is running
Nov. 25th, 2010 08:31 amBut I am *not* coming down with a cold.
And I'm tired. Evening yesterday with Alexandra was fantastic, but it lasted till midnight. That means I got 5,5 hrs of sleep. Tonight Thanksgiving dinner at Erin's place. But it seems as if I could have tomorrow off work, i.e. I'll be able to sleep in.
Not that the weekend promises to be very restful: house warming party at Stefanie's on Saturday... Self-explanatory I think. I'm going to contribute a curry.
Macedonian lesson about to start. Poor Dalibor, he won't be very happy with me.
And I'm seriously tempted to skip today's Schengen meeting, because all I'll do is fall asleep and thus destroy the Austrian Embassy's reputation. Or something like that. So not going would definitely be better.
*yawns*
*waves*
ETA 10.40: OK, I *am* coming down with a cold. Non-stop sneezing, nose runny and stuffy, teary eyes. Bugger. Cancelled tennis for today -- unless I get a fever, I'll rather go to the gym than play in the cold -- and might have to cancel tonight's dinner chez Erin, if it gets worse. B-U-G-G-E-R.
Just a thought: who wants to bet that, in case the cold wins, Mr H will call me today or, better, tomorrow (i.e. when I'm really sick and looking like shit) to ask me out? That would be Murphy's Law, but as we all know, Murphy's Law rules supreme.
The cold hitting today is further proof that I'm always weakest shortly before getting my period. Me hates it, preciousssss.
