Okay, here's a word of wisdom. Well a few words.
IF you fall asleep on the couch and then transfer yourself to bed, try not to think of something that makes your heart beat faster, because you probably won't be able to go back to sleep
IF you're unlucky enough to get into a state of sleeplessness, get out of bed right away. Don't loiter till 3.30, i.e. almost an hour.
IF you did the silly thing and waited till 3.30, don't treat yourself to a stiff G&T in order to get tired.
BECAUSE, you know, you still have to get up early, even if it's 6 instead of 5.30, and that G&T still skips merrily through your veins.
THIS means that the G&T is the only thing that jumps merrily.
Arrrrgh.

I've been a lurker these days, reading the flist but not commenting. And I haven't been responding to all comments either. Promise to mend my ways.
And I'm about to do something mildly stupid. Not telling right now, because somebody might actually try to talk me out of it. Don't worry, it's not going to endanger my life, health, career, boyz, friends or indeed anything really important.
