On to the Deadly Sins:

Day 1- Pride. Seven great things about yourself.
Day 2- Greed. Seven worldly material desires.
Day 3- Wrath. Seven things that piss you off.
Day 4- Sloth. Seven things you neglect to do.
Day 5- Envy. Seven qualities you lack and covet.
Day 6- Gluttony. Seven guilty pleasures.
Day 7- Lust. Seven love secrets

Being greedy )

And now, the Urgh, which isn't so bad -- surprisingly, really, because I only got 4,5 hrs of sleep.
Last night, I went out with all the Embassy girls to celebrate the International Women's Day. As in all of Eastern Europe, it's rather a big issue here, with men randomly congratulating women in the street. We were eleven (including also Slavica and the Ambassador's household staff), and we had such a great time! There was food, and music, and dancing. I learned to dance the simplest version of the Ora, which is the traditional Macedonian dance; it's slightly similar to Sirtaki, but while Sirtaki isn't rhythmically complicated, Macedonian folk music certainly is. Such fun! And the girls told me that some of them go to a folk dance class every Sunday, and they invited me to come, too, and I'm certainly going to try it. Apart from the pleasure of dancing, it also makes for a fantastic workout, because there's a lot of skipping and jumping involved in the more complicated (and most of all fast) versions.
Anyway, sticking to rakia and water only and dancing a lot seems to have done the trick, i.e. I'm slightly tired due to lack of sleep, but not as wilted and exhausted as I would've expected.
There's a picture too, of all of us, but I left it at home -- will bring it tomorrow and try to scan it, because it's such a memorable souvenir.

I'm really in an obscenely good mood.
*waves and grins in annoyingly happy way* good days to you all!

Ana brought her picture to work, so here it is:

Poor quality and small, because she had to save it as .jpg in order to be able to mail it to me, but here we are, from left to right:

Ana (our resident beauty and my assistant), Jovanka and Svetlana (Boss's housekeepers), Vesna (guardian angel), Arieta (our youngest, visa section), Irene, Monika (visa section), Jasna (Queen of Pain, boss's assistant), me, the much-beloved Slavica, and Lidija (visa section)
