This aptly describes the colour of my face after doing the morning running round. It also was the colour of most of the traffic lights, which is why my time -- 42 min -- isn't quite correct; I had to stop and wait at least 5 times, since ignoring red lights between 8 and 9 on a Saturday morning is simply too dangerous, especially if you're wearing headphones and listening to Rammstein at full blast. I am, however, quite happy with myself, because this is the first time after more than 2 months (last stay in Vienna, as a matter of fact) that I've been running outdoors, and so the result was satisfying. Temperature was perfect, too, a bit under 10°, i.e. no jacket needed.
Now -- following 15 min abs, for cool-down, and because abs are important, remember? ;-) -- I'm having a nice, big mug of coffee, then shower, and then off to do a bit of shopping. Not too much (not being virtuous here, but time will be limited, plus I did some yesterday already), but shoes would be nice. I also need an English Vienna guide for Elena, and such pedestrian things as my favourite brand of dental floss.
Just for the heck of it, I tried a few of the "calculate your biological age" tests today. Depending on how accurate the questions are, it's between 41 and 44. Being honest about smoking and drinking is to blame, I'd say. If I didn't smoke and stuck to one glass of wine per week, I'd probably be 30. *lights cigarette*
That's it, folks. Have good weekends, everybody!
