Back home, back to normal
Apr. 20th, 2011 09:59 amNormal, and rather unexciting, but that's ok.
First, nice piccies Stefanie took when we had our girls' night at my place:
Armed and dangerous
Literally conducting kitchen business.
I'll go running today with Stefanie -- not sure whether this is a good idea. She's 12 years younger than I and fit. So it probably won't be as bad as going running with Daniel (Christmas 2009), but... Well, let's see what happens.
Weather is improving from warm-ish and grey to warm and cloudless. Just in time for the Easter weekend, which I'm looking forward to a great deal. Nothing to do except cat care and sports, fridge well stocked, to-be-read pile impressive.
Speaking of cats, Alexandra has decided to take in the stray she'd taken to the vet last week -- poor girl had to have a c-section to give birth to four dead kittens and is now on the mend. Since Alexandra's flat is so small, I wonder how the introductions will be made, but have sworn to stay out of this. The introduce-Lola-to-ze-boyz Project has been abandoned, because it would mean useless stress, at least until it's clear whether Lola is going to accept her new friend or not.
I have to admit to a certain lack of enthusiasm but am prepared to be convinced otherwise.
