The Cat Chronicles, continued
May. 9th, 2011 09:54 amLola didn't have to return to prison for the last three nights. While she'd slept elsewhere from Friday to Saturday, she joined me in bed from Saturday to Sunday, as did Cornelius. They did a bit of hissing at 4 a.m., whereupon I simply locked her in her room till 7, when I got up, rested after (finally!) more than 5 hrs of sleep. Last night, all three came to sleep in my bed, Lola on her now-customary left side, and ze boyz on the other. Very nice, if slightly awkward for changing position.
After Saturday's peaceful siesta scenario, I decided to leave them on their own yesterday while I went running. All three were snoozing, so I thought nothing much was going to happen, and indeed nothing happened. They spent another hour on their own, when I went up to Irene's place to have dinner. Same result.
Since Slavica will be at my place till 3 p.m. today, and I'll be back home at 5.30 at the latest, they're going to spend all day together. The worst that can happen is that Lola hides in some place and can't get out, because ze boyz block the exit, but 1) it's not overly probable, because they'll all be tired and go to sleep as soon as Slavica leaves, and 2) even if it happens, it won't last more than 2,5 hrs, which shouldn't be overly traumatizing.
For your enjoyment, here's a piccie of the Saturday Siesta Idyll:
