That would be the sound of yours truly falling into an emotional black hole. Not that it comes as a surprise, after all that stress and euphoria, but I'm not feeling very well at the moment, and I'm also tired.
I guess it's mostly due to, as mentioned, lots of stress and cat-related euphoria, and to the fact that Lola has to spend today in prison, because there's no way I'd leave them on their own, unsupervised, for a whole day, and that OTOH I have to accompany boss to an appointment at 4 p.m., will probably be home at 5.30, and then have to go to a book presentation at 7. The presentation is more or less a must, since we co-financed the event, so it wouldn't look good if I'm not there. Which means having to decide whether to leave the monsters on their own while I make a brief appearance at the event; I won't be there for more than half an hour, so leaving them to themselves should be ok. Or so I hope.
Then again, I really ought to be rational about this -- as if that was easy, when it comes to emotional issues -- and consider that 1) Lola won't be suffering cruelly and 2) ze boyz will quite enjoy having the place to themselves.
I also ought to revel in fond memories of last night, when all three critters were sitting around me and greedily eating the slice of ham I gave them, without so much as a hiss or a sideways look at one another.
Plus, the weather has improved, and it's sunny.
Anyway, I'm also tired, because I went to bed rather late, i.e. 11.30, and woke up before 5 p.m. -- not the critters' fault, at least I don't think so, and even if it was it wouldn't make much of a difference. *yawns*
Oh, and there also won't be any sports today, and I don't like that, either.
