Have you ever tried to thicken a veggie curry by adding mashed pumpkin-cum-Greek-yoghurt? Do it. Trust me, you're going to like it.
National day reception tonight. We iz not amused, because we'd rather have a nice, quiet evening at home.
Boss's wife is coming especially for the occasion, not that anybody would've missed her. (well maybe boss, but that's a matter of speculation) Anyway, I had to question boss&wife's sanity yesterday: she's leaving their 13-year-old daughter at home (i.e. in Vienna) alone, for three whole days, just in company of the dog -- it's not a trained watchdog, I might add. One evening on her own would be one thing, and not a problem at that age. But three whole days??? She's got to walk the dog for heaven's sake, and it gets dark quite early. I call that irresponsible, especially as the Austrian part of the family are 600km away in Carinthia. *shrugs* Oh well, she's not my child.
No other news. Going to devour a plate of that curry now, then siesta, thenoutfit crisis getting ready.
