Varia et imponderabilia
Jan. 17th, 2012 08:48 amFirstly, behold the Amazing Black Four-Legged Dishwasher:

The plate had been the last resting place of a delicious omelette.
Secondly, behold the dimness of the PW37.
I've been having sleeping problems again, of the "fall asleep, sleep for about five hours, wake up, can't get back to sleep before 4 a.m." variety. Very, very unpleasant, because going back to sleep, finally, at 4 a.m. means that the alarm kicks me out of deep sleep at 5.15, and I'm a zombie all day long.
It happened again last night, and finally it occurred to me, while watching tv and waiting to get tired again, that the symptoms are the same as when I drink coffee too late. Then, sudden enlightenment: of course they are the same, because (at least I think so) I'd been drinking black tea pretty late in the evening every time the sleep problem popped up.
So black tea will have to be forgone in favour of herbal tea -- not a big problem, because I like the so-called mountain tea (a blend of thyme, marjoram and mulleins). I'm just slightly aghast that it took me so long to work that out...
Thirdly, after a busy day yesterday at work I'll get started today with the third warm-up piece.
That's all, folks.
