The Snot Demon has taken over my head
Feb. 1st, 2012 09:24 amI went to work today, because there were a few urgent things to be done, but I'll be leaving in the early afternoon, to go home and apply tea and cats. Will stay home tomorrow, most probably.
It's the usual: nose blocked-up and running, eyes swollen, no fever (till now), sense of taste and smell gone, and I'm feeling as if something big had chewed me up and spat me out.
Since I don't have anything to do anyway, I don't see why I should remain at work any longer than it takes me to get the few urgent things done. Apart from feeling totally shitty, I might also give the virus to others, and I wouldn't wish it on anybody. So home it is, and hopefully it won't be so bad tomorrow that I won't be able to enjoy the day off at least a little bit, even though it's a sick day.
