It's snowing. Again. And pretty cold, and going to remain that way, so the snow will stay. I don't really mind, because not only do we need the snow so there won't be a water shortage in summer, I'm also a fan of changing seasons. I certainly wouldn't want to live in a place that has the same weather all year round.
Yesterday morning when I woke up, I thought the flat was feeling pretty chilly. And of course, ta-daaaa, the heating wasn't working. I was pretty sure that it was only because the water pressure was low -- i.e. getting more water into the system was enough -- but since I'd never watched the technician actually do that, I was a bit unsure where to connect the hose etc. And of course it had to happen on a Sunday, and of course Goran the Lovely Landlord had to be AWOL. So I called Kosta, one of our local employees who knows lots of useful people, and he found me a plumber willing to come in the early afternoon.
Plumber didn't want to take any money for the intervention o_O
So I more or less forced him to take it. MKD 1000, which is € 15 -- compared to what I'd have to pay in Vienna for an emergency intervention on a Sunday, it's really nothing.

In other news, project "reduced cigarette consumption" is going well.
I'm smoking half of what I used to, and without much trouble. It's not as good as quitting, but since I have no intention of quitting, halving the daily nicotine intake is a good compromise.

Did I mention that I don't have any work to do?
I don't have any work to do.
It's nice.
