Sick day yesterday...

...because I'd eaten some slightly dodgy hummus on Monday for dinner. I wasn't quite sure whether it was really off and thought, "Well, it's just hummus, so even if it's gone bad, what harm can it possibly do?" -- now I know that it can actually do quite a lot of unpleasant things to one's digestive tract. The worst was over by the early morning, but I was quite tired and exhausted and therefore decided simply to stay home. Good decision, because by early afternoon I was feeling ok again and thus able to enjoy the rest of the day. Hummus isn't going to be on the menu for quite some time, though. Urgh.

Got my HP Halloween prompt and am conducting cautious negotiations with The Muse. It's only 200 words, so she probably won't make too much of a fuss.

Badminton with Klaus today during lunch break. And there shall be porcini mushrooms for tonight's dinner.
This is me counting my blessings.

Since there is absolutely zero to report, I'll post a kitty picture, taken yesterday: Rambo sitting on the kitchen window sill with his two uncles. This time it's not due to perspective; the little kitteh is almost as big as Lucius now.
