Where have all the ballses gone...?

Both Boyz neutered today, obviously with success. Both are still a little bleary-eyed, sleeping out the anaesthesia, and while Cornelius sought solace with me, Lucius is definitely *very* grumpy and *very* miffed. Which only confirms my belief that Lucius is way more intelligent and knows exactly who was the mastermind behind his torment. Cornelius--I think I could club him over the head with a cucumber and he'd still come to me for comfort.

So I spent the day at home, reading, then having a little afternoon nap on the couch, with Lucius curled up against my leg (he just won't let me touch him. Using me is OK)

Now I'd like to get a bit of writing done, but am feeling strange (impossible to define the strangeness, but it often happens when I sleep in the afternoon). I *think* I'm starting 'Orpheus'. The plot is written out (very atypical, but as it was originally planned as a co-writing project, I had to) which is a good thing, because I remembered the gist of it but had forgotten a lot of details. Seeing as how the plot's there, I could even post it as a WIP, but am not sure whether I want to.

There is a 'but' in every sentence. Gah!
