Maybe. I'll think about it as soon as I can think again.
Spent the afternoon with Klaus, eating, chatting, reading the 2 dream sequences from 'Orpheus' to him, and--finally and most importantly--helping him cram for tomorrow's Christology exam.

Christology, pardon my French, is a bitch. The historical developments of attributes ascribed to Jesus, from the gospel to the 3rd synode of Constantinople (and even further but that's a little less important). Sometimes it's downright fun, and it's very interesting, but the thought of having to know it and being able to actively talk about it... Waaah. But Klaus wants to finish his theology studies he started long ago (interrupted when he did his psychotherapy training) and I'm only too happy to help and contemporaneously learn something new. One never knows what one might need it for, inconsequential as the difference between homoousios and homoiousios seems. *snort* To think that people were excommunicated because of an 'i'...

The plot outline for the Ginny/Lucius story is finished, printed and pasted into one of my ubiquitous black notebooks, i.e. ready for being carried everywhere and enrichted by random strokes of inspiration. It might take quite a long time to write, but I'm looking forward to it. A lot. Merely have to work out some technical issues before starting the actual writing process.

My continued, blissful absence from WIKTT means that I have no idea how the newest FFI chapter was received. FFI was one of the stories I was alluding to when writing about my refusal to wait for updates which are more than 2 or 3 months apart. 7 months between two chapters is simply too much for me. Between two books, OK. But not between two chapters, which are shorter than [livejournal.com profile] azraelgeffen's, who manages to update every 2 or 3 weeks. The quality of her writing is at least equal to that of KazVL, if not superior. But that's ultimately a matter of personla taste. Then again, this is my very own, personal LJ, so, yes, Azrael's style is more to my liking because it's less artificial. Once the dialogue passes beyond a certain point of wittiness, it's there more for its own sake than for characterizing the acting persons. Hmmm. Maybe I'm being unjust, and the long time between the updates has led to a certain estrangement between myself and FFI. Possible.

Anyway, 'Orpheus' is now almost complete on ff.net (ch.34 posted today, 2 to go) and I've scored a grand total of 79 reviews so far. *snorts* Yes, this is an exercise in humility. Yes, Lord, I've learned my lessons. *scuttles off looking for ashes to be generously sprinkled over head* (fortunately self is smoker, so ashes-supply satisfyingly plentiful)
