I woke up at 5 (as I became aware a few minutes later) with the absolute certainty that I hadn't set my alarm last night before going to bed. While I was still deliberating whether to set it now or just go back to sleep, never mind if I overslept, the muezzin started.
Fuzzy brain went into panic mode - OMG the muezzin, oh the oversleepness, oy,oy,oy.
Once out of bed and giving ze boyz their breakfast, it occured to me that being woken by the muezzin's first call would mean oversleeping only for two or three weeks in the deepest winter.
At least I went to bed early yesteray (about 10 p.m.) and am not tired. Besides, with the dental torture planned this week, starting it this way makes a sinister kind of sense.
Yesterday's shopping went well, in spite of the solid 8 inches of heavy, wet snow, and the baby shower was a complete success.
