...for shiv5468  who gave me a prompt some days ago: Lucius has to take up a Muggle hobby, to prove he's changed.

I thought long and hard which hobby Lucius might choose and finally decided on -- well you'll see. There's a piece of ficlet sitting on my hard drive at home, but what could be more appropriate for Lucius's hobby than to write about it in haikus?

Leopard changing spots -
Impossible. Painful. Try,
Lucius, try it.

Muggles’ pastimes, how
Useless. Wand-flick, spell-word, charm:
The elegant way. 

She, the eternal
She, man’s delicious downfall
Needs proof of his change. 

Muggles’ pastimes, then,
To be tried. Elegance is
Prerequisite, though. 

Heaven, earth and man:
Ikebana unites them.
A worthy pastime. 

Effeminate? No!
It's Samurais’ art, and priests’,
Spiritual, old. 

She nods. Her bright smile
Warms him. Bushy hair brushes
His cheek. Peace, maybe.
