God, I'm tired.
Slept more than enough, and the cold/virus/WTF-ever seems to be buggering off out of my system, but boy, am I tired.
I didn't follow the usual procedure yesterday for fighting colds and viruses, but it seems to have worked nevertheless. I didn't go to he gym, because I was already feeling leaden, and the mere thought of undressing to change made me shiver. So I went home, opened a bottle of red wine, added water to the ready-made, gluten-free bread mix and put it in the oven, settled down on the couch with wine and cats, and proceeded to watch season 1 of "The Thick of It". (No idea why I hadn't watched it so far, because it's brilliant)
More wine, accompanied by two slices -- well chunks rather -- of fresh bread with butter and blue cheese.
More wine.
Another chunk of bread with truffle oil drizzled on top, preternaturally strong Gin-and-Tonic.
Sleep.
My mother called around 8.30, only to say that we couldn't talk because apparently my father's got the flu.
Another G&T, and oblivion.
Woke up around 1 a.m., cleaned teeth and went to bed where I stayed till 4.30, i.e. the grand total of sleep comes up to seven hours.
The nose is ok, if still slightly sore and a bit drippy (but nowhere near yesterday's constant flow and sneezing), and today there shall be massage and gym.
Can't wait for the weekend.
